At Roger, we are continuously working to enhance the flexibility and power of our platform for developers. We’re thrilled to announce exciting updates to our API, empowering developers to automate the creation and sending of agreements seamlessly. With these new API features, you can integrate Roger into your own workflows and improve the efficiency of contract management for your organization.

New API Features: Automate Agreement Creation and Sending

We’re taking automation to the next level with the release of new API features that allow you to programmatically create agreements. This feature is perfect for developers looking to integrate contract creation directly into their systems. By leveraging the Roger API, you can now easily generate agreements and share them with recipients, all within your own applications.

Key Benefits of Programmatic Agreement Creation:

  • Instant Agreement Creation: Generate agreements directly through the Roger API using predefined templates, streamlining the entire process.

  • Automated Signing Links: Automatically return a unique signing link, making it easy for signers to access and sign agreements.

  • Email Integration: Send agreements via email directly from your system, ensuring faster document turnaround times and enhancing efficiency.

The new feature is fully based on a Roger template, meaning that it mirrors the structure and content of the original contract, automatically filling out the necessary fields for the sender. This offers a seamless experience, eliminating the need for manual intervention.

For detailed guidance on using this new API feature, head over to the Creating and Sending Contracts section in the Roger documentation.

Exciting Upgraded Question Types: Long-Form and Single Select

But that’s not all! In addition to the new API features, we’ve also upgraded the way you collect information through questions in your agreements. We’ve added two new question types to improve the way you interact with signers and collect data.

1. Long-Form Questions:

Sometimes, you need to provide additional context or give signers the ability to elaborate on their responses. With long-form questions, you can now allow customers to input more detailed information in response to specific inquiries. This is ideal for capturing explanations, additional context, or providing links to external resources.

Key Benefits of Long-Form Questions:

  • More Context: Perfect for scenarios where simple answers are not enough. Allow your customers to provide detailed feedback or information.

  • Hyperlink Support: You can embed hyperlinks directly in the question text, giving signers easy access to additional information they may need.

  • Enhanced Customization: Customize the information you need from your customers, ensuring you gather everything necessary to complete agreements.

2. Single Select Questions:

For scenarios where you need to offer multiple options for your customers to choose from, single select questions provide a simple and effective solution. With this question type, you can present a list of choices and let your customers pick the one that best suits their needs.

Key Benefits of Single Select Questions:

  • Simplified Answering Process: Allow customers to quickly select from predefined options, making the process faster and more accurate.

  • Clear Data Collection: Ensure that the responses you collect are clear and consistent, which is crucial for processing contracts and agreements.

  • Improved Accuracy: By restricting responses to specific options, you can reduce ambiguity and ensure that answers align with the information you need.

These upgraded question types provide more flexibility in your contract processes and ensure that you collect the right data from your customers while maintaining clarity and efficiency.

What’s Coming Next?

At Roger, we are always looking for new ways to empower developers and improve contract workflows. With these new API features and upgraded question types, we’re excited to see how our users integrate and utilize these enhancements. We believe the community of developers and customers will come up with even more creative applications to leverage the power of the Roger API.

Stay tuned for even more API features and upgrades coming your way soon. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to make contract management easier and more efficient for everyone.
